Dispatch
What does a truck dispatcher do?
A dispatcher finds loads that fit your truck and lanes, negotiates the rate with brokers, handles setup paperwork and rate confirmations, and keeps the broker updated until you're paid.
How much does dispatch cost?
a percentage of the load's gross, quoted for your truck and lanes. Your first load is free.
Do I have to take every load?
No. There's no forced dispatch. Every load is sent to you for approval first.
Which equipment do you dispatch?
Dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, power only, box trucks, hotshots and cargo or sprinter vans.
Where do you dispatch?
Nationwide in the lower 48 states, based on the lanes you want to run.
Do you work with fleets?
Yes, from one truck to larger fleets. Fleets get one point of contact and planning across all trucks.
Money
Who pays me for the load?
The broker pays you or your factoring company directly. Fleetorica never holds freight payments.
When do I pay Fleetorica?
Billing terms are set in your dispatch agreement. You only pay dispatch fees on loads we book.
Do you help with late payments?
Yes. Collections help on late broker payments is included for dispatch clients.
Compliance and new authorities
My MC is new. Can I still get loads?
Some brokers book new authorities, and many more will after about 90 days. We'll help you get ready and look for brokers that accept new MCs.
Can you set up my authority?
Yes. Our MC authority setup service is $250, plus the government fees.
Is Fleetorica a broker?
No. Fleetorica is a dispatch service working for carriers under a signed agreement. We are not a broker or a motor carrier.
