Questions carriers ask

Do I need an ELD?

Most drivers who must keep records of duty status need one. Exceptions include short-haul drivers within 150 air miles, drivers who keep logs 8 days or less in any 30-day period, and vehicles with engines older than model year 2000.

What if my ELD is revoked?

FMCSA publishes a list of revoked ELDs. If yours is on it, you have a limited time to replace it, so check the list regularly.

Can you edit my logs for me?

Drivers must approve edits to their own logs. We review, flag problems and explain how to fix them correctly.
