Your next steps
Send back the signed agreement and your carrier packet, and your dispatcher starts on your first load.
You talked to our team and have the dispatch agreement, or you are waiting on your MC to go active. Here is exactly what to send back and what happens after.
1. What to send back
Reply to the agreement email with the signed agreement and your carrier packet:
- The signed dispatch agreement
- W-9 with your legal name and EIN (it must match your FMCSA record exactly)
- Operating authority letter: your MC authority certificate from FMCSA
- Certificate of insurance showing auto liability and cargo
- Notice of assignment from your factoring company, or a voided check or bank letter if you don't factor
- Contact sheet: dispatch, accounting and after-hours phone and email
- Equipment list: truck and trailer type, length, weight limits, doors, liftgate, temperature range
- Preferred lanes and your home base
- Your ELD provider, if brokers will ask for tracking
Send them as PDFs from your phone. The carrier packet checklist explains each one.
2. Your first week
- Your dispatcher finds the first load, checks the broker and negotiates the rate
- You approve every load, including the first one. There's no forced dispatch.
- No dispatch fee on your first completed dispatched load
- No contract to lock you in: a simple dispatch agreement you can stop any time
- Brokers pay you or your factoring company directly. Fleetorica never holds your freight money.
See who qualifies on the first load free page and the full process on how dispatch works.
3. MC not active yet?
Brokers can't book a load to you until your own authority is active. While you wait:
- New authority guide: the steps to get your MC active
- MC age checker: see your authority's status and age
- Keeping your MC active: MCS-150, insurance and BOC-3
When your MC shows active, reply to the agreement email or call (747) 210-0227 so your dispatcher can start.
4. Common questions
Can I cancel?
Yes. There's no long-term contract. Service terms are in a simple dispatch agreement, and you can stop any time.
Is there a minimum?
You only pay dispatch fees on loads we book. Your agreement lists the exact terms.
Do I have to take the loads you find?
No. There's no forced dispatch. Every load is sent to you to approve first, and you can say no.
Who do I call?
Your dispatcher, or Fleetorica at (747) 210-0227. You can also reply to the agreement email.
What if my insurance isn't ready?
Brokers need a certificate of insurance showing auto liability and cargo before they can book you, so we start booking once it's on file. The insurance checklist shows what to get.
